Until you can πππππ£π your own βversion of successβ you will continually find yourself competing with other peopleβs versions.
But β¦ What they want and where they are heading might not be the same for you and, comparing yourself to someone elseβs timeline will only make you feel inadequate.
Itβs OK if your path is different because:
YOU are unique, just like your own vision, desires, wants and needs.
AND
Itβs OK if your path is slower, steeper, or bumpier because:
YOUR circumstances, responsibilities, and priorities are specific just to you.
If you are not clear on what βsuccessβ means to you, then chasing someone elseβs version (or no version at all), will only distract and disappoint you!
These are just some of the things I help my clients unpack because all too often they feel pressured by other peopleβs versions (spouse / parents / strangers), when in fact, it doesnβt realistically align with the life they are trying to create.
